Anatolian Press is Closing its Doors

This was never about the ink on the page or sales or numbers. It was about the passion when we talk about our worlds. It was about the courage it takes to write “The End.” It was about seeing you, the creative soul behind the story, and helping you connect with readers who truly understood. It was about building a community.

And together, we built something real. The friendships, the confidence, the unbreakable bonds, Autumn Tales… those moments are our true legacy. They can’t be measured in sales figures or analytics. They are what it was all about, and I will cherish them forever.

A Difficult Truth

The last year has been hard. Brutally hard.

Despite every effort, every late night, every ounce of hope, the sales have declined. The financial weight of sustaining Anatolian Press in its current form has become immense, taking a toll on my health and my spirit. I’ve wrestled with this, fighting to find a way forward, because the thought of letting you down is heartbreaking.

But I cannot keep pushing against a tide that is pulling me under. I owe you more than that. I owe this community more than that. To continue on this path would be a disservice to the very people I set out to champion and to myself and my family.

Call it a “Refocus.”

So, this is not a surrender. It's a return to soul.

The goal was never to become a giant. My passion, where I do my best work, has always been in the trenches with new authors. It’s in helping new authors gain the knowledge, the confidence, the community, and the courage to take charge of their destiny.

The proudest moments have been watching authors outgrow me. Seeing them stand on their own two feet, killing it at conventions and in-person sales, knowing they have everything they need to succeed independently. That has always been the win.

Anatolian Press is returning to that core mission: To empower authors to build their own success.
I will always be a cheerleader in this community. This is not about closing doors. It's about making sure my limitations aren't holding you back.

Thank you all for being part of this journey. No matter what the future holds, know this: I am prouder of you than words can say, and I will always be in your corner.

With all my love and deepest gratitude,

Micah
