Scarlett Hoffman

Scarlett Hoffman is a devoted lover of books. As a young girl, reading was not high on her priority list until she picked up the graphic novel Gunnerkrigg Court at a local comic bookstore.

 

Suddenly, reading became her life, and she never looked back.

 

She finds the early morning hours her favorite reading time and her cat, Shadow, is her book companion. Shadow can often be found tucked neatly into Scarlett’s arms as she reads.

 

During the pandemic, Scarlett expressed interest in trying her hand at writing. With the foundation of a storyline typed out, she joined an online novel writing course on Outschool, and the rest is history.

 

Scarlett was captivated by the process, and the ideas for books flowed. She keeps a notebook full of plotlines and character names that fuel her stories. With a passion for writing and a clear knack for the art, she embarked on her first book series, "The Lost Fairy Chronicles.”

 

The COVID-19 pandemic changed many things for everyone, but Scarlett is grateful it allowed her the opportunity to pursue her writing passion. She feels confident that being an author is what she was meant to do, and we agree!

 

Scarlett enjoys playing Lacrosse, practicing her flute, playing video games, and hanging out with her friends when she is not reading, writing, or studying. She is also an animal lover and is studying the art of Falconry in hopes of one day becoming a Master Falconer (when she is not writing her novels, of course).
